They claim white people invaded, but Mexicans used to live in Mexico not America. The Native Americans are not the same as the indigenous Mexicans. Ross G: Yes these are the facts

... are you absolutely sure about that? P.S. Your latest political candidates are racists. Nice country you've got over there!
3 :
They used to own Texas and Western U.S
4 :
Because They're butthurt that they lost to the US in the Mexican-American War.
5 :
Some live in California and Texas until the problem in Texas started! Also white people came here from Europe!
6 :
Because they used to live here. They owned certain states. But, now, the ones who claim USA as their territory are some nazi Germans, and from Germany to Arizona USA, is a long, long, long, long way.
7 :
What!? They want to get the same rights as the native americans, and not pay taxes... That is complete bull.
8 :
Yeah, like those Native Americans thinking they used to own all of the USA. You're an Idiot.
9 :
Mexicans do live in North America. North America is a continent, Canada, US and Mexico. maybe the indigenous North American Indians should kick all the US citizens out.
10 :
Mexico used to own :Texas, California , arizona , New mexico . Half of the Mexican territory was taken away on the American-Mexican War. America invaded with the idea to "free" Texas and ended up taking half a country . It seems to be Americas way to take away people's land in the name of peace , all the way from native indians to Iraq and Afghanistan ,

parts of the U.S used to be part of Mexico like California and Texas, which was annexed in 1845 after the Mexican-American War...so yes the white people did invade and we took their land.

Why do people argue about things that happened so long ago. Look at all the wars fought in history around the world. People act like we need to put the world back the way it was originally to be fair to the people who lost their wars. How far back should we go? Rome? Greece? Egypt? Persians, Assyrians? I don't get it.

The border isn't going to move now. Their own people came here from Spain, they killed everything that moved. All they wanted was gold. Then left their bastard children behind. Those are now Mexicans.
15 :
They did . If they want to fight and get it back that's on them . Im sure no one is just going to walk away . Remember the Alamo

Mexican immigrants are now present in the Southwestern United States with a population percentage they have never enjoyed at any other time in history http://dailyuw.com/2007/10/8/mexican-claims-to-us-soil-historically-unfounded/ there is none so blind as those who will not see--- none so deaf as those who do not hear------ scripture dude.....they are ignorant of even spiritual affirmations. Mexico had barely colonized most of the Southwestern United States when it became U.S. territory in 1848. Spain, then Mexico, merely held imperial sway over Indian territories. In 1835, Texas had about 3,500 Spanish-speaking residents, compared with almost 30,000 Anglo-American settlers, according to Ray Allen Billington, in his book The Far Western Frontier: 1830-1860. In California, there were about 4,000 to 7,000 Spanish-speaking residents in the 1840s. The vast majority of the population was still Indian. Scattered missions, pueblos and presidios represented most of the Mexican presence in the area, which is why it was so easy for the United States to seize the area during the Mexican-American war Since the Spanish were the first to explore the Southwest, their geographic terms are on the map every place they stopped to relieve themselves. These vestiges are often used to justify the massive Mexican colonization A Zogby’s poll found that 58 percent of Mexicans agree with the statement, “The territory of the United States’ Southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico.†This was on display last year with the massive marches of Mexican citizens waving Mexican flags in American cities. If this isn’t blatant colonization, with ulterior imperialist motives, I don’t know what is.

Texas, California, New Mexico, and Arizona were owned by Mexico!!!

"Some live in California and Texas until the problem in Texas started! Also white people came here from Europe!" ----------- And guess who some of the earliest "white people" were: the SPANISH. You know, the ancestors of "Hispanics" and "Latinos". The ones who conquered parts of what is now the U.S. and virtually all of Latin America. The ones who "stole" not only land but lots and lots of resources such as gold from the indigenous peoples and who forced them to adopt Spanish culture. You know, the ancestors of modern day "Mexicans". You didn't listen closely enough in "history class".

If you look at the border between Mexico and the United States, you will see on of the longest, and most difficult deserts in the world. In Arizona alone, they have three scorpions that kill you quick, or slow.. and three snakes that also do it well also. But nothing gets better all the way to the Pacific Ocean. In New Mexico and all the way to the Texas border at Brownsville, the Indians that controlled that country did so in a place with very, very few water holes. Further, early on, the Catholic Priests offerred a Mexican Dollar for all the heathen scalps they collected... oh yes the Indians like that a lot. THEY started taking the scalps of the Mexicans and Spanish and selling them to the Church in Mexico. They got Indians... we got a whole lot of Mexicans and Spanish. No. The Mexicans did not live in this country because it was very hard to get here, and even when you got here.. no water.. no ranches.. no way to grow crops. They didn't come when the Spanish stole the land from the Native Americans, and didn't come when the Mexicans tried to steal the land from the Spanish. The border was established.. the Railroad came up with huge steam pumps that could really move water, and then ran a rail line through that country in the late 1880's. They used the Steam Pumps to pull that water up for the locomotives, and that meant the local community could also have water. Lordsburg, New Mexico is an example that is excellent of exactly that sort of thing. http://www.krqe.com/dpp/news/environment/ferocious-winds-spread-havoc-across-nm?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+krqe-environment+%28KRQE+News+13+-+Environment%29

Don't these greasy wet-backs understand that they are as much a product of European emigration as are we? The entire hispanic culture is based upon the colonisation of Central and South America by the Spanish. Last time I looked, the Spanish are European AND White. >>>>>>>>> T-Mex puta, America is a country, NORTH AMERICA is the continent, you silly hiSPanIC.

mexico is IN america

Do you know that America is actually a whole continent you ignorant, moron gringo?

"They used to own Texas and Western U.S" Yes they did and my state of California rebelled against Mexican rule during the Bear Flag Revolt. Mexico gave up California without firing a shot. Shows how much Mexico valued California doesn't it? We Californians fought for our land and we took it. Mexico did not cede California to the U.S. There was nothing to cede because when we rebelled they let us have it. If they want our California back then they can raise an army and take us on. We beat them once and we'll beat them again and every single time.

I've read some stupid statements of some people accusing the spanish people about the gold hunger and that they killed everything, SO WHAT DO ENGLISH PEOPLE DID?? At least spanish people allowed native people to live, not like english who really did a genocide by exterminating them and never allowing them to live in their towns. Not even to mention their gold hunger... None of the european invaders have anything to save their backs of!! NONE!! If you don't know history, then READ. You believe you can justify or hide your european ancestors of that?? Yeah, and the moon is made of cheese!!... Now, concerning to the subject, UNFORTUNATELY for many people, yes, many states used to be Spanish territory in the past, like California, Florida, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona... I wonder WHY many places in those states have spanish names... DO YOU???? DEAL WITH IT!!! History talks my friends. And UNFORTUNATELY yes, many mexicans have native american ancestry, and FYI native americans live from Alaska to Argentina... and ARE THE SAME RACE.. Oh, you ignored that too??? What a shame!!... You should read some more!!... The difference is, nowdays, that territories are divided, and if you were born in a certain country, you'll have the support as a citizen of that country, either US or Mexico. That's the way it should be. Mexicans born people cannot claim native american rights because they are native americans of their own country. Just like Canada and US or Brazil and Bolivia. There is not a PanAmerican Native Organization yet to give like general rights all over the continent, in all 35 countries. So don't get to the extreme. And yes this is a fact, MEXICANS LIVE IN AMERICA!!! Or where do you believe Mexico is located in?? In Oceania?? America is not a country, is a whole continent!! Or do you refer to the United States of America?? What a large name... Again, UNFORTUNATELY it has a name that refers to a whole block of countries, just like Europe, Asia and Africa...

The immigrants are invading. I thought that was Spanish territory, never "Mexican" Did Mexico actually exist then?? The Mexican Revolution (1910–1929) resulted in the death of 10 percent of the nation's population, but brought to an end the system of large landholdings that had originated with the Spanish Conquest.
