Where is it best to live in America when you are an exchange student

Where is it best to live in America when you are an exchange student?
In a few years, I'm going to America for a year. I really want to live a place with a lot of possibilities, where I can experience a lot of fun trough the year. I have thought about Texas, New York, Florida or California. what do you think?? I'm open for suggestions.

NYC is the place! Center of the world! Room mates online are a source of places to stay, ready to go and cheap

Depends on where you come from If you come from Asia, then CA If you come from Africa, then NY If you come from South America, then FL If you come from Europe, then TX

You should go to Austin, Texas or New York City... they're very culturally diversed areas with lots of music, theatre and movie history

It depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. NYC is a fabulously diverse area, but it gets extremely cold in the winter. Florida and California are warmer, but they're still really large areas. Each city in those states has a different personality. You need to think about what you want, give us more details so we can help you better.
