How difficult will it be to live in America

How difficult will it be to live in America?
I am an American citizen and my husband is English. We both live in Turkey on resident visas. He is a pilot with 20+ years experience and no criminal record. I do not work. He has supported us for the year that we have been married. How difficult will it be if we wanted to move to America. What kind of documentation would we need.

It's very hard. People are barely making it these days with grocery prices so high, but thank God gas prices have gone down. It's time for some change.

our economy sucks right now so think about that before you move back

You should talk to the American consulate there, but it should not be a problem. You of course can work right away if you wish. He will have to get a work visa wish as a spouse of an American should also not be a problem. I would take all your papers from the time you've been in Turkey, and of course all his British papers.

If he is a commercial pilot, he will do fine. They earn over 200k a year.

People can live good, If his pilot license can cross over to america then you guys will be more then ok Pilots make a lot of money in the USA i have attached the average Amount they make a year. As long as you watch your money you will be ok. That has been the problem a lot of americans have been making including myself. If you are an american it should not be diffcult for him to become a Citizen he will have to take test etc. If where not married i would have said visit the USA and get married because he would have automatically been aloud to live in the USA. I hope everything goes ok and you can come back home to the country of opportunity! http://swz.salary.com/salarywizard/layoutscripts/swzl_salaryresults.asp?op=salswz%5Fpsr&jobfamilycode=30&txtKeyword=Pilot&hdOmniNarrowDesc=Transportation+and+Warehousing&hdZipCode=42701&hdOmniTotalJobsFound=17&pagefrom=selectjob&hdJobCategory=TR01&hdGeoLocation=Elizabethtown%2C+KY+42701&countertype=0&totaljoblistnum=17&joblevelcode=3&hdCurrentPage=1&hdNarrowDesc=Aviation+and+Airlines&hdLocationOption=0&hdViewAllRecords=0&hdJobTitle=Captain%2FPilot+in+Command+%28Large+Jet%29&hdSearchByOption=0&hdKeyword=Pilot&rdbSearchByOption=0&hdStateMetro=99&jobcounter=2&hdSortBy=0&hdJobCode=TR20000007&hdJSBoolDisplayAdvertisement=&hdAjaxKeyword=Pilot&hdAjaxKeywordWithOR=%23Pilot%23&hdAjaxDisplaySection1=1&hdAjaxDisplaySection2=0

Contact an American immigration consultant with experience in arranging K1 and K3 visas. It will take about 8 months to complete but it will not be too hard. The only hurdle is that YOU have to be able to prove you can support him until he can find a job after you move to the USA. But that is why you will be paying the consultant their money to figure out. .

Go to http://www.visajourney.com for free guides and advice. The sire is full of couples with one American partner who plan to move to the USA. I don't know if Turkey allows Direct Consular Filing but someone on visa journey will know. Good Luck

Depends on the country in america you want to go to

In your case you would have to apply to your nearest consulate or embassy for him to get a temporary visa. As a pilot, he could work for commercial or private airlines. If I were you I would start the process before landing in the US. Good Luck
