Do you have to own a house to live in America or just renting one is ok?
I am an American citizen married to a british citizen. We got married in America 2 years ago and moved over to England. I have been living here for over 2 years now. We have a child together and we are interested in moving to America to live permanently. Would we have to own a house for my husband to become a permanent resident or could we rent one?

He is a usa citizen cause he married you. you can rent or own.
