I hope you can't get across the border. Stay where you are, we don't want you here.

Whew tuff. Come to America as Immigrants. You will probably never be able to work for Disney land. But never hurts to try.

The united states is full of illegals. how about staying in your country and making it a better place. The biggest problem with america is people like you comming here and wanting to change us to be more like where they are from. STAY HOME WE DONT WANT OR NEED YOU!

Why work? Come to America, demand rights, speak your mind, get health insurance for free, refuse to speak our language and demand we Americans give you the life for free that we work so hard for..oh, and let us pay our taxes so you can come here and live the good life. Isn't that the American way...thanks to Bush? I give you a lot of credit for wanting to come here and get a job. It doesn't sound like you even gave it a second thought (not working). I commend you for that. You are only 14 and are already thinking about your future here in America. You are wanting to earn your way here. Thank you!! You seem very mature for your age. I really do want to wish you good luck on your dream. As far as working so many years to get your green card...I know nothing about that. I do know that it is very expensive to live in Florida or California. Both are beautiful places, but you would probably need a lot of money to start out with. A few of you living together is a good idea. Working at Disney would be a blast for someone your age. Be careful and good luck.

Strange....I always thought Americans were really friendly. Looking at some of those answers, I begin to wonder. Regarding the question, you have 1 chance...none. If you want to go there to live and work, you are going to need a foot on the door, like a relative already a US citizen. I applied to go there and the paperwork has only just come thru after 7 years and will take another year to complete. So, forget it. That's with me having family there too. Still not sure if I will go yet though.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the chances of this happening are next to none. For starters you will need a work permit and this can only be obtained issued by the USCIS and must be petitioned for on behalf of an employer based in the United States. And for the petition to be successful the employer must prove that there is a shortage of U.S. workers to do the job you are applying for. - Somehow I don't think there will be at Disney World. The best way to stay in the States on any 'long-term' basis is to study here. Below is some reading for you and your friends You want my advice? Study in the United States. Save up as much money as you can, making all the sacrifices along the way. Inform your parents of your intentions now, so that they can also have time to save their money so that can also be better able to support you financially. In audition to that, concentrate on your studies in England, work as hard as possible to get the best possible grades you can. This will all help in the future.

First, I'm very sorry about the rude answers you got from people who don't know what they're talking about. Unfortunately, this forum attracts a lot of the fringe of American society who hate foreigners. Unfortunately, it's very tough for British people to immigrate to the United States. The easiest (fastest and least paperwork) way is usually through the Green Card lottery. However, people from countries which already have a lot of people in the US are not eligible to enter that, and England is one of the places not eligible. If you have an immediate family member in the USA, you can get him/her to sponsor you. Otherwise, you can be sponsored by a spouse, but if your marriage is judged to be a fraudulent marriage solely for the purposes of getting a green card, you can be punished quite severely. The other options require that you either are very highly skilled or that you invest a lot of money (at least half a million dollars). The only route that sounds possible for you would be as a highly skilled worker. You'd definitely need a university degree, and in most cases you would need an advanced degree. You need these kinds of qualifications even to get a temporary work visa. In any event, even if you did manage to get temporary work visas, time spent on temporary visas doesn't help towards a green card. My advice is that the best chance you would have to immigrate to the United States would be to go to an American college or university on a student visa. You'll get a degree at the end which would help you to get key worker classification, and you might also meet an American you fall in love with and marry.
