Can an illegal alien live in America with-out committing crimes other than violating our sovereignty?
In other words, do you consider illegal immigration a gateway crime in which it would be impossible to operate and live with-out breaking other laws? I often see illegal supporters claim that illegal aliens only break the law of entry and I do not see how that is possible unless they cross they border and just stand there in the desert.

In order to support themselves they would need to break the law again, either by working "under the table" or by stealing a social security number and other identification to get an above table job.

I know many illegal immigrants and most of them are decent law abiding citizens...maybe they work with a false SSN, so what...at least they are working!!! If you haven't realized it the Americans are getting lazier and lazier. I am an American citizen and the way I see it we commit just as many crimes as they do!!! It is not possible at all for them to just break one federal law since they break laws getting on our welfare, getting a job, a place to live, driving, being here, being here, oh, and, being here. I see no conceivable way they can only break one law, as if that isn't enough.

where do you stop when counting the law broken by illegals? You cant stop at the point their feet hit the dirt on the US side... because from that moment on, law after law is broken, even if they have the best of intentions.

I doubt it! On top of breaking the sovereignty law - they have also broken Federal and Immigrations laws. Then they have gone further and broke ID, and state systems fraud. As well as broke multiple other laws. Not all have to be the extreme criminals transporting and selling drugs, murdering or raping of others, prostitution rings, etc, etc.... They all have broken the laws. Just in different manners. Some have got caught, while others are waiting to get caught. That's the only difference.
