Would you rather live in Caracas and pay 10 cents for gas, or live in America and pay over 3.50 a gallon?
Its simple - would you rather live in a country such as Venezuela or Iran where gas is next to nothing (take into account civil liberties, way of life, etc) or reside in the states and pay over 3.50 a gal? I'm asking this due to the commotion over gas prices in America. My view is that things could be worse - if gas prices are one of the bigger problems we are worrying about, we should be so lucky. Thanks for your thoughts.

I would rather live in America and pay $ 8.00 a gallon. This would keep most of the cars off the streets. Just the way I like it. I have no problem with exorbitant fuel costs.

Actually, Caracas looks quite nice i think I'd rather live there. their temperatures average around 70-80 they are building a mall, they currently have museums, parks, a university. so... paying 10 for gas seems good...(if you like to drive A LOT)

No matter how much gas costs, I will not willingly move to a country ruled by a dictator. Look at the risks people from Hati and Cuba take to get here, regardless of something as trivial (in comparison to living under a dictator) as the price of gas. Now, there are a few islands (I know Venezuela is not an island...) that I wouldn't mind considering (St. Kitts, Nevis, Dominica, Bonaire...) that are pretty close to Venezuela.

the gas may be cheap but caracas is the most dangerous city in the world so would you rather get robbed at gunpoint every year or pay 3.50 for gas?
