It depends on personal preference. Some people like it where it is really warm and a lot of sun. Some people prefer colder areas. Others prefer a faster pace of life with lots of things to do while others want a more relaxing environment. I live in Cincinnati and though it is a great city to raise a family in, it doesn't help us single folk. I liked Seattle when I was there. It was really pretty and the skies were really blue. If Hawaii wasn't so expensive, I would want to live there.

My wife and I moved to the South from Chicago. She practically had to be forced onto the plane at gunpoint to fly to Birmingham for the interview. Five years later, she won't live anywhere else. And three of our friends have moved here since. Forget the stereotypes. It's really a great city that nobody really seems to know much about.
