How can you live in America when currently in England

How can you live in America when currently in England?
I'm interested in working in America in the future but now i'm studying in college and want to work in the law enforcement. I'm living in England at the moment but i've heard it is pretty hard to move to America but I do have relatives over there and the job i want to do is a special agent and how would you be able to work over there and live. Any ideas? Thanks

You can not just come to the United States and work here. If you have relatives that are USC's or LRPs they can possibly petition for you (if they are close enough relations - immediate family). To work in law enforcement in the United States you generally need to be a US Citizen, though some departments will hire LPRs who have the paperwork in process to get naturalized.

Actually, getting residence status in the UK is about 10 times harder than the U.S. Since you also have relatives in the U.S., it will be even easier. There are no special requirements to get into the U.S. like the UK has. As long as your criminal record is clean, you'll be alright to come here, live here, and work here. You could contact England's embassy in the U.S. and they could tell you everything you need to know to help you, and to get citizenship.
