I would suggest to move to the Hudson Valley of New York State. It's in close proximity to New York City (one hour,) has a rich abundance of cultural, historical, and artistic actvities... You can find a four bedroom house for about $325,00.00 USD. It's got everything from mountians, to lakes, to rivers, family activites, and it's a close distance to all of the major New York airports like JFK, Newark, and La Guardia.

Best place by far is Florida..... Look at Kissimmee for the following reasons.. Always vibrant with tourist's, so plenty of work. Weather is fantastic. Schools are very good. Floridians are awesome people. Houses and apartments are going up so quickly, you can get a 4 bedroom 2 car garage and pool for 200,000 dollars..... furnished too..... You need to shop around a bit.. But it really is fabulous... And the added bonus is, that if you live in Florida you will qualify for cheap or even free tickets to all the attractions....

Well, you weren't very specific on your family and their needs... It totally depends on what you value most, and what your price range is for living... My first suggestion would be in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. It's in the middle of the country right on the Mississippi River. The city itself is just OK, Chicago's better if you ask me, but the suburbs are wonderful. And the public school system there is amazing. Personally, I suggest Kirkwood. It's probably more expensive than some of the other suburbs in that area, but the people are so kind, and the schools are better than the rest. Kirkwood High School and North Kirkwood Middle School are always given "Blue Ribbon" status. It's a truly "all-American" community with everything America's all about. And the public schools there have a program where they bus in inner city kids, so it's very ethnic, and your children will grow up respecting and understanding all different races. I hope this helped...
