How does an Australian citizen get to live America?
I'm 17 going on 18 and I know you need some sort of a job for a working visa over to America..I live in Australia you see and after finish school plan to go over to America...I want to stay for a few years...but I don't know how...

its not that easy anymore to come to the US. The USCIS does not allow simple immigration. you must be under some sort of sponsorhip by an american or an american company. routes to immigrating are: marriage to an US citizen american company sponsoring you to work for them close relative in the US sponsoring you large investment in a US company immigration lottery if you wish to come here through employment you must have a US company hire you and sponsor you. this is time comsuming and expensive for the company so not many companies do it. you also have to proove that no US citizen can do that job, for example if its a specialized field. email me with your specific situation and i can try to help you out and tell you what channels you may immigrate thru. this is the official site for the USCIS it also has forms you can print. http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/
